Meteorite AKA Hearts & Diamonds
The meteorite has many names, including the cage, the ‘hamster wheel’, ‘hearts and diamonds’ and the round-up (because it goes round and, er, up). Whatever you call it, it is the ultimate thrill-seekers’ ride.
Riders stand around the edge of a circular cage, which spins so fast that you’re held in place by the power of centrifugal force! Once you’re firmly ‘stuck’, a hydraulic arm lifts the ride into the air until you are spinning almost vertically.
